Leonardo Jardim has been fired by the Monaco board due their current form in the Ligue 1.

The poor start of season of the club left the Portuguese manager in a difficult situation and the monaco board finally decided to part ways with him.

reports and rumours suggest Thierry Henry will be the key target to take the vacant post.

Monaco are currently third from the bottom on the ligue 1 table and 4 points behind the first safe spot.

In 2017, Leonardo Jardim led Monaco to French ligue 1 glory and reach champions league semi finals of the same year.

Leonardo is however paying the price for the high rate of player sales and departure of the clubs top stars like Bernardo Silva, Fabinho, Kylian Mbappe, Thomas Lemar, and Benjamin Mendy.

Monaco has picked up just 6 points in the first nine games of the season being their worst start since joining the ligue 1. The club also last in the champions league group A with 2 defeats against Athletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.

“I’m grateful and proud to have been AS Monaco coach for more than four years.

“I’ve always given my very best and worked with passion. We achieved some great victories together and I’ll always keep those memories.” Leonardo Jardim said on the club’s official website.

The 44 year old Portuguese who joined the club back in 2014 leaves the club haven recorded a series of good results during his stay at the club.

intelligently about. Now i’m very happy that I found
this during my search for something relating to this.
